Tom Chesover is a film consultant and producer with over a decade of experience across development, sales, acquisitions, business affairs, and production financing. 

Tom began his film career in the development team at BBC Films, before becoming a sales and acquisitions agent at both Protagonist Pictures and Cornerstone Films.

Throughout his career Tom has represented multiple Academy Award and BAFTA-winning films in the market, played a crucial role in the pre-selling and financial closing of a wide range of productions, and licensed world class independent cinema to studios, streamers, and independent distributors in every major territory around the globe.

Key titles represented in the marketplace include SOUND OF METAL (Darius Marder), SAINT MAUD (Rose Glass), GOOD LUCK TO YOU LEO GRANDE (Sophie Hyde), THE BRUTALIST (Brady Corbet), and BIRD (Andrea Arnold).

Tom has also been proud to represent worldwide rights for the Film4 Library, and classic titles from filmmakers such as Sean Baker, Danny Boyle, Chloe Zhao, and Mike Leigh.

Marked as a Screen International ‘Future Leader’ in 2021, and an alumni of Inside Pictures 2025, Tom has participated in industry panels for the National Film and Television School, Cambridge University, the London College of Communication, BAFTA Rocliffe, and a range of international film festivals.
